I'm not convinced that there is "an original necklace" here. It looks to me like a composite inspired by Haskell, that could have been made quite recently from various parts. I'm working on one like it myself!
There is inexplicable variation in the way things are attached and (I think) in the color of the findings.
I just stumbled across this necklace with, I believe, similar Italian beads to the ones in the first necklace. eBay no. 132442312591.

Someone took apart some old necklaces and re-assembled the parts.
Note they symmetrical arrangement of matching beads on the dangles - I have never yet seen that in the old 1930s necklaces, where the beads are always different from one another.
