a bead must tell me its fascinating story until my discovery. It must be charged with the past of human beings and tell the evolution of the humanity. That's why I have the greatest respect for the very old beads in terra cotta , stone, shell, glass or bronze that are heavy in the past of humanity.

The message, loud and clear, was that if I put it down there was not to be another chance for it, or any other like it in my lifetime. Art knows exactly which bead that is......

You were after a 7L in the same case, Art had just put this ancient agate out...and I knew, just knew...! In Danny and Suzi's room, 2015...Since, David Ebbinghouse arranged for Michael Winsten to do the gold mount. Never again will such a bead come my way, I'm grateful, surely! Merry Christmas, Danny, Suzi and all bead freaks! The Wiki link tells about it's era, clarified for me by Yankee. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seleucus_I_Nicator

Shawn and I visited Danny and Suzi in New Mexico before the 2017 Tucson show and Danny showed his set of Lopactrian beads, which were mind blowing. On the drive home (and every day thereafter), I could not get the ocean jasper bead out of my head. Now I own it.
Thanks Danny and Suzi.
