The decay in the different layers is pretty cool, I think.

These seem to be the "worst" beads currently on any of my necklaces. Fortunate to have a set of 9 from the same strand - they form a nice centerpiece. I like how the red/white trailing has degraded but the yellow has held up better.

on the face, this bead is in perfect condition, underneath is where the "badly beaten" wear is plain to see, one can also assume from the care in making this bead a wearable bead again with the metal repair, it was a very loved bead! One of my favorites!
