These glass beads, Chinese perhaps, are the most lovely shade of cool, luminous violet.
They have a cheesy clasp.
I've never seen anything quite this color. Have you?

if they are neodymium... sometimes purple, sometimes blue

If they are neodymium glass, the purple color will look pale blue under incandescent light and some types of florescent bulbs but not others. I'm finding most currently made bulbs make the glass look purple, as does sunlight. But I have a few lamps that make the beads look pale blue.

I love them too!
I had not been aware of neodymium glass, only magnets!
I'll have a look when I get home to see how appreciable the color shift is in different lights.
