I am on Pinterest but don't really know how to use it. So far I just share images that are already on Pinterest. I need to learn how to share images from other sources if it's possible.

Here is an album I put together of photos of sample bead cards.
https://www.pinterest.com/birdinest/bead-research/

It began when I could not find photos of Ambassador beads on the Sick Co. bead cards. I still have not found much information on Ambassador beads. They remain a mystery. I know the large fat black ovals with matte finish. I don't know when they were made or any of the Venetian made variations. I do know there are reproductions, but have yet to see them all together.

The blue beads are said by the seller to be reproductions. Were there Venetian blue versions?

I'm finding this confusing. I would not call these Ambassador beads. Maybe I don't understand the definition. I found other mistakes on the website, such as calling glass cornelian beads stone, so maybe this is another one.

It's funny how a certain arrangement of dots and pulled elements creates more interest and excitement than other arrangements of the same elements.

I have yet to find the traditional Ambassador bead on a bead card. Photo borrowed from an Ebay seller.

Does an Ambassador bead have a certain specific set of dots and pulled areas? Or can we more loosely call these other beads with pulled elements 'Ambassador'? The Illinois Museum uses the term, but I don't see one as I know them on the cards.

These blue versions are Venetian from the late 1980s, they were made in several colors, one of them a red white heart, we kept a sample in the museum.
The regular old black is in the Murano Museum sample card. It is in the new book by Panini, page 107 #225 (last bottom bead on right)
