I'm confused by the labeling. It looks cool, but I don't understand it.
When our museum closed several years ago, Jim Lankton's Timeline that was displayed with Jamey's design acumen and dedication was donated to Yale Peabody. Little by little the individual beads are being catalogued and uploaded to the web site.
Thanks, Thomas .

This panel is modified from the original, which appears on page 30 of "A Bead Timeline" by James Lankton, documenting the exhibit by the same name at the Bead Museum in Washington,D.C. What a relief that this wonderful resource is being preserved and formatted by the Peabody Museum in such a way as to make it accessible to everyone interested. If the book shows the entire exhibit, then there about 7 more panels to go. The book is still available on Amazon, buy if you don't already have it, as it was only printed once and there have to be a finite # of copies still out there. The best I'm seeing today is new on Amazon for $32.50. A must if you care about ancient beads!
Thanks for posting it, Thomas!
with catalog # and brief description. I had to scroll up a little once so far.
try moving the scroll bar which is on the the right side, and another on the bottom. I had the same issue
