I was home selling trade beads on eBay when Colin was little. I was sorting through some of the bright red Czech "eggs", culling the chipped ones out of the "sell" pile...liking the bright color, at age 3, he said, "I want one." So I passed him a chipped one. His response, almost no pause, "I don't want that one, it's chipped." Saying to myself...good for you, honey! He had a number of old beads in his toy box then, including a big fat fancy Yemeni silver one from Ebrahim Touray...
