The only bead of this kind I have ever seen. The design is very popular for Muraqat. Strange though that I have never found an original (like this one) in Mauritania.
Might be an argument for the age of the Mauritanian powderglass industry.
Should be/could be 16th century as well! The canes are 7-layer Chevrons in both case (this bead and the one in the previous post).
