I remembered loving this necklace although not a particular Pumtek fan. I did not have the same reaction this time so went back to first rendition. It may only be the different lighting, but I think that I prefer the simpler pumteks which flank the elephant in the original design.

Often, I find myself featuring bounty instead of beauty. My objective is to display collections as well as possible rather than just create a pleasing design. I was trying to show off that little "lightening" pattern pumtek. Often, I end up putting too much into one necklace when I could have made two or three necklaces..
Tempted to create a long tassel suspended from either side and down center from the elephant. I love the tactile quality of beads as they drape in the hands. I have a number of very nice Pyu era beads which I want to share.
Please feel free to offer your opinions. I want to show off my collections beautifully. Wish we could see each other more often.
