how can i find out if the dzi bead is real or not?

I found 09 pieces of this type of Dzi beads in a old grave yard.

The bead that is the darkest in color, black, with thin white lines is a glass bead. With white glass on a black base they made the pattern to resemble a dzi bead, but it is not. It is probably not very old, at most 20 years, and could also have been made very recently.

as the above answer from Floor, these are all modern beads, value in the range of $1-$20 MAX! If anyone told you they dug them up, they were either lying or they had just buried them hours before

Yes, I agree with the others. I'm sorry to say that all of these are modern copies of dZi beads with only ornamental value. We see many of these on the market every day.

it is possible to tell that they are fake 100% just looking at the photo? :l i personaly found them by digging ... I am farmer, i just found them

Why do you think you can convince a great group of collectors who happen to know better that what you are claiming is the truth?

If you found this one digging you were digging in a seeded area. Hope you didn't pay too much to be able to dig for beads. It's a great scam.

Yes, actually, it's quite easy to tell from the pictures. And the ones in the second bunch are also modern. Is it possible you were digging in an area where someone through out a bunch of beads? I do believe it is the only possible explanation.

lots and lots of diggers are to be found in Afgan-Pak in the remote mountains with metal detectors looking for dzis. needless to say, there are lots of copy and fakes around imported from China, just for beginners and uneducated Investors to jump.

most people in your aria are still not familiar with the dzi markets of the world, and unlike the heirlooming Tibetan culture in which they preserved the knowledge and culture alive, your diz have been long forgotten(possibly to do with the arrival of Islam!?)
dont follow the trend thinking there is jackpot awaiting at the end, unless you know these very well.

thats real, i was in afghanistan and found them in the land, but i am not telling that its 100% real or fake, i just want to find out if its fake and u all tell me thats its fake, allrignt, but tell for me please the way to find out by myself for future - how to find out if they are fake or real

It takes years of diligent research to know what you want to know, as long as you are of the mind set that you are displaying here with your far fetched claims of finding tourist souvenirs buried in farmland, you will not ever know the truth about these types of beads, you are blinding yourself with your own fantasy. My advise is to stick to farming (if you even do that) and leave beads to people that have more integrity than what you show!
