I have tried to find saphiret beads, but they appear to be even more rare than the cabochons. The last antique dealer I asked said he did have some stones or beads in that type of glass, but he had no clue where.
He pointed at the stacks and stacks of stuff in his shop and wished me good luck with trying to find them.
