You know me....Whithhearts...the actuall atrical was about the terms and tech of the famous overlay bead, the famous Cornaline D'Aleppo.
The actual title was "REGUARDING CORNALINE D'ALEPPO BEADS'.
This is one artical that I just can't read enough...That is probubly obvious by the number of times I still screw up when I talk about them....."redhearts" duh....
I do have some trit little pub's myself...junk like autographed coppies of "Seventh centry beads from Holland..vol XIV by G.B. Fenstermaker..and Extract from script titled...Beads as a dating medium in proto-historical archaeology..by A.P. DuToit,MA.
And besids the Liu and Dubin book I have Glass beads from Europe,by Sibylle Jargostorf....
But like I said...that artical about Cornaline D'Aleppo by you is fab.
I t makes me wish I had all of your articals...(time for a book scribbed by your hands).
And I know that some of our life long members could come up with all sorts of words and photos on african trade beads...names like TASART,DOG BONE,Joyce,FLOORKASP And many others whom I listen quit closly...
I think something like this could take our disscussion to a whole different level.
Perhaps we could find a way to incorporate photos from the gallery linked to these articals????
I'm not a computer expert............Beginner is a better term for my expertise with computers.
I know that to do this someone would have to do lots of work programming, but whowever got it done would sure be my hero for life..
I would surley send every thing I have to contribute to this effort...
Hows-a-bout....the rest of you guy's here at BCN...do you have something we could use to start a downloadable resorce center????
I think we have an oppertunity to make something really big in the bead forum world.
Any other ideas out there????????????
