My first day at Bead Fest was rather fun. I've seen several old friends, and I've bought a few beads—including yet more new Javanese chequerboard beads, that clearly take their cue from Viking Period beads, as seen in Dubin 1987 or 2009.

I will show these when I can.

I'll return to the show Sunday, and head home Monday (arriving Tuesday).

By the way—if anyone sends me a private message I cannot receive it. I have some glitch happening with Yahoo, and cannot sign-in.
