These beautiful beach pebbles inspired me to go into making jewelry. I started buying some beads to add to my design.
About 9 (?) years ago I went on a trip along the Silk Road and travelled from Damascus in Syria all the way to Beijing. I picked up interesting beads along the way. Old beads, prayer beads, weird beads, Chinese pearls.

When I came home, I was wondering what I had actually bought, found BCN and the rest is history.......
By now, I have been to Tucson 5 times, met so many great people through BCN, written 4 books and travelled all over Europe to go digging for beads. But it all started with those pebbles.
