As far as I know there is, in glass bead making, no difference between goldstone and aventurine.
Aventurine was not only used in Venice but in NeuGablonz too.
What you have shown of the collection what's passed down to you, I recommend you to consult the books of Sibylle Jargstorf. "Glass Beads from Europe" and also "Baubles, Buttons and Beads".
You will understand and appreciate your collection more.
