These are Czech Prosser beads, indeed made to resemble coral. They used to be made in the Redlhammer factory in Jablonec.

These pictures show two different strands of Czech coral lookalike beads, one is like yours. Second picture is where I found them: in the garden of the apartment in Jablonec we were staying at.
