Hi Jamey (and of course bead geeks everywhere) ! ~
Nice reply, and thanks for all the great info. I also really enjoyed your article, Pyu pictorial & essay! I remember the first pumtek beads I ever had the pleasure to see. They were being flogged by Jackie Little at the second site of the Los Angeles gift show 1992ish. I immediately fell in love with these (at the time) expensive beads, and still have a deep appreciation for them. I have a wonderful collection of them, and will probably never be able to stop buying interesting, and beautiful examples. I would really enjoy seeing your favorite collection Jamey, and any and all others. I am enclosing a couple of weak shots of mine, all are original, chosen primarily for the wear characteristics they exhibit at the perforation. I love the variety of colors, and also of course the great contrast of black and white a single bead can have. In the first strand there are also some ancient Pyu culture beads mixed in, I love to wear this strand. The second I do not actually wear, it is merely a collection I display on my bedroom wall. I am so in love with the two long opalized zigzag Pyu (pumtek?) beads. Okey dokey, that's what I got, thanks all!
