I've been looking for French bapterosse beads and some small rust-brown beads for weeks, and boy, they are getting hard to find!

I have to recreate a necklace for a gallery, spent days searching my studio stash, finally found enough to get through. But I decided I need to increase my stash because NOBODY knew where to find more.

I reached out to Picard Beads. They have only one color of those beads in butter yellow. Not my favorite but I bought several strands anyway.

Jamey suggested I reach out to Wild Things Beads, and though at first the owner said they didn't have any, I found two strands of dark brown on their website and snagged them! (They're going to get a few samples of what I'm looking for in case they find more down the road.

I found a lot of other colors on Etsy from ONE seller AufildutempParNicole, and they were very reasonably priced. But OMG, shipping is $100! I bought them anyway because they're the only ones I could find. (Ironically, my horoscope today said to beware of overspending....) https://www.etsy.com/listing/1459601743/batch-of-300-antique-french-briare-glass

I tried other shops on Etsy, eBay, other bead companies, nada.

I have enough to get through, but worry they're going to be even harder to find down the road.

I'd post an image of what I'm looking for, but it's been so long since I've posted here, I forgot how to make my image smaller.... =8-O

Are these beads now more rare than pricy African trade beads??
