The person who sold me the necklace I posted, is selling several other identical ones. All "made yesterday". I posted the picture of the Dayak people to give context in case people were interested.
Unfortunately, many bead collectors, myself included, are buying at least some of their beads on the internet so my aim was to alert them with regards to the new beads from Java source(s) that can look a lot like Venetian beads. I have experienced several cases where India or Java beads were mixed in with antique Venetian beads and misrepresented as Venetian.
The traffic here on BCN is pretty minimal right now but I do occasionally run into people who read the posts, so I keep posting what I hope are useful items.
