The book arrived a few minutes ago. So, of course, I have not begun to absorb its contents and propositions. But what I know, from the subtitle alone ("Their 10,000-Year History") does not give me much hope--since the Trade Bead Period only encompassed 550 years (from CE 1400 to 1950).

I will do my best to remain open-minded. But it will be a challenge.
