...this is yet another book composed by someone who has not delved deeply or seriously into beads and bead history, who merely repeats old mistaken ideas (and probably adds his own), and will consequently misinform everyone who reads his tome.

It will only be the latest in a long series of inadequate treatments of beads.

I am still working on my corrections for Beck and van der Sleen--that, at least, were genuine attempts to present beads historically. I am really tired of reviewing terrible worthless books. It ought to be done--but it makes me appear to think I "know it all" (despite my multiple insistences that I don't), or that I am just sour and easily bent-out-of-shape. When actually, books that are composed by poorly-informed authors are just drivel. And people who seek to expand their knowledge should be warned.
