they are all moulded- but i think the faceted bicone-like beads that have greenish ends with a clear centre have been ground/faceted as well, and the smooth spherical beads are made with a swirled lustrous mix of red and orange. the big mint-green ones are just moulded with many facets.

beads from the mid 20th C. were often threaded on very fine chain. although these are all now on thread, the necklace with the mint/sandwich/ clear middles appears to have been on chain or wire originally because i think i can see metallic dirt still coating parts of the inside holes of some of the clear faceted beads on the same necklace.
