About 25 years ago I created these bracelets after noting many Egyptian beaded jewelry pieces that combined carnelian, turquoise, and lapis lazuli.

It may be difficult to do in the short term, but for anyone interested in the jewelry of ancient Egypt, I highly recommend visiting the jewelry display from Tutankhamun's tomb at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The items may have been moved to the new museum - but I'm sure if you get to Cairo you will be able to figure it out! Pictures simply do not do the items justice IMHO.
