As a matter in fact these Mizoram strands justly deserve to be termed "classic". They look timeless, almost impossible to be improved.
The quality of the stone is unquestionable, the beads are consistently well matched, the lapidary work is flawless, and the shape of the beads so very elegant. These small barrels seem to come to us right from the prehistory (this handsome word that is not much used anymore).
The only thing that make difficult to ascribe to them great age is the fact they are so plentiful, and are always in such a good condition.
I started to buy strands -- as many as I spotted -- comparatively late, say around 2000 C.E. Mostly from Hands of the Hills and Mystique Beads. At the time, they were about $50 a strand. But soon the spring started to dwindle, till present near drought.

We have no schedule here, the moment you arrive will be time o'clock.
