Odisha is the same region formerly called Orissa—this being one of the regions from which India Hill Tribe jewelry (somewhat similar to Naga stuff) was derived in the 1980s.

I am surprised to know that larger cornaline beads can be found in these regions—since, as I said, I do not associate them with India, East India, Pakistan, nor Afghanistan. Which just goes to show that I have not seen everything.
