Re: Probably Nagaland or vicinity -- Rosanna | Post Reply | Edit | Forum | Where am I? |
Over the forty (40) years I have studied Naga jewelry, the only red whire-heart beads I have seen have been smal (pony bead size) beads, used in multiple-strand necklaces. The necklace might be primarily red white-heart beads; or they might be sparingly used in three stations within the strands; or close to, or within, the knotted closure. These same beads are not uncommon as filler beads in Burmese constructions.
