Regarding the colors, the bead appears to be opaque yellow on a black base. This is not an unusual color combination. However, over time, glass—particularly if it were to be 2,500 years old—would be inclined to decay and change in color. What was originally a brighter opaque yellow, might become more somber ochre tone.
These are changes that should be expected in ancient glass beads. JDA.
