There are translucent pink chevron beads made by Art Seymour and from Venice (if I am remembering correctly).

I think that if there were a Chinese version we would be seeing many more of them in the bead marketplace.

If these are Seymour beads, it's rather odd that that would be unknown—he being a master-beadmaker of considerable reputation; and his beads being widely coveted. In other words, his name is a selling feature. I have a photo of a pink Seymour bead that I documented about eight or ten years ago. Unfortunately, not easily at-hand.
