In September 2018, Alice Scherer (Secretary/Treasurer, Society of Bead Researchers) gave a slide presentation (during the Vancouver, B.C. symposium of the Textile Society of America) comparing and contrasting the loose-warp woven beadwork of the Tlingit, Wasco, and Pit River Native peoples of the greater Pacific Northwest. Those who might find the subject to be of interest may download her paper, which was recently published online at the Digital Commons at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
