The seller says the strand is vintage Native American and strung with a few old hand made silver beads. Since I don’t know much about NA necklace design it’s possible. There are five courses of 14 beads separated by the silver ones, then each end section has 27 beads. Probably not a mala, right?

Nowadays things that are 20 years old are called vintage so it’s hard to tell the era.

I’d never seen the orange beads and was very curious. The seams sticking out indicated to me that they were not very carefully made, so India sounds about right.
