This is a new or recent Chinese glass bead that is loosely based on a Warring States bead, also derived from Western Asian productions dating from ca. 2,500 years ago.

Today, I see that there are quite a few obviously-fake recent Chinese beads at certain cyber-auction sites, that are being passed-off as authentic Warring States beads, for asking prices in the multiple thousands of dollars—for beads that are worth about $10. (at the most).

Your bead is a somewhat-less-good example of this trend.
