Fantastic pinterest link- much enjoyed. Meanwhile keep eyes peeled in the 2nd hand stores, Antique jewelry displays, Flea Markets and Yard Sales for these elusive pins! How exciting would it be to find a rather odd piece of costume jewelry and realize that the glass design was actual ancient Roman millefiori! I know some of the Egyptian Revival jewelry used some actual old faience scarabs, so I always try to look for hidden treasures!

Would love to see your brooch made from shard..
