One of my 3:00 am internet purchases from last night...a lovely old (late 1800s ?) carnelian bead I believe. Set into a silver mount later on. Haven't seen it yet so posting photos from the auction. I believe it's a bead..one of the photos seems to show a hole. Colors look to be lovely orangey/red & white. Measurements are 13/16 x 1 x 11/16 inches - weighs 12 grams. Probably North African. I get so caught up with my searches on the computer, but sometimes manage to find some special things. Thoughts anyone?
