Meiji metal work would not intentionally include a green patina. Japanese metalwork is normally patinated in the studio. If your bead is a Japanese ojime, it would be the exception for many reasons. I would have to see it in person to feel certain. If the pea pod is right, then the spider may have been added at a later date. To sell a plain pea pod with minimal craftsmanship, you would need a signature and a spider to add interest.
