They have clean perforations. In this way they are like Venetian beads. However, the glass and the workmanship don't look correct to me. The transparency of the glass, the colors, and the raised trailings cause me doubt.

My hunch is one of the Asian countries. Perhaps Japan?

You might try to find examples similar to yours in the Sick collection. I've looked in the past for some similar ovals with no luck.
