Rosanna,
I have had my own website nearly twenty years. This said I decided early on that I was going to learn how to write HTML code. It ended up being easier than I thought it would be.

About two years ago I started reworking the site into “The Lopacki Collection” knowing that there had to be better ways than when I first started I did some snooping. If your using windows Microsoft offers free Expression web 4. There are tutorials on you tube that walk you right through using it.

I have a shared server at Godaddy, I have 1500 GB of storage on it and at times I have put friends sites on it for free. My cost for this is so low its almost free. If you build your own site you do it on your computer so you always have the site in your possession. I have copies of my different renditions of three sites. If you have all this information on your hard drive and other places you might need to update as storage type changes but once you have it you have plenty of options.
