Now that you mention it - obvious!
I'm used to seeing little white glazed looking pukas. These have a nice pleasing soft surface and purply color. They are about 1.2cm across. Pukas for sure.
Attached are a couple of images of another lovely kind of shell bead. These are from India somewhere I believe.
Shells have such pleasing weight and presence.
