Well, not exactly, it is a bit of a cheat. Originally, it was a neat looking unpolished sliver of stone, almost like it was knapped out like a tool. So to give it a little class, I took a sheet of 24 karat gold used for gemstone bezel wire and wrapped it around for an accent piece, also maybe to make it look like it was so well-liked that somebody went to the trouble to repair it. (Grin)!
