Hi all,

we organized a bead exhibit in Lizzano, Taranto Province, Puglia Region. Lizzano is a small village known for its strong red wines. The exhibit is hosted by the small city museum. If somebody is already in Puglia for tourism, the exhibit and the cellars are worthy a visit. About 20 km north of Lizzano there is Taranto, an ancient Greek colony, now mainly an industrial town: its nice archaeological museum, completely renovated, hosts among other archeological artifacts a good selection of locally made gold jewels, mostly dating before the Roman conquest of the III century B.C.In the pictures below, the main square of Lizzano, where the museum is located, and one of the rooms hosting the exhibit.
