The question: Who knows more about these chevron imitations? At first I thought they were Prosser beads, but further inspection proved me wrong. They appear to be a white ceramic/porcelain, with a glaze and then a decal transfer for the 'chevron' pattern.

I have not seen them around a lot, and the only ones I have come from the African trade. So, any thoughts?
