In my opinion, this was the most ambitious and posh, truly international bead conference ever held. But it needed twice the number of participants to cover expenses and make a profit for the Turkish organizer. Personally, I believe it should be remembered for all it accomplished rather than for the inconveniences of those who felt disenfranchised. Currently, Jan Skipper is offering for sale a copy of the very impressive proceedings.
