Thank you so much for having a look at these. The beads are quite hard. I might have thought ivory, but don't see that cross rippling pattern that ivory has. If they are wood, it is a denser and harder wood than I have available.
Does wood get significantly harder with time? Are there ways to treat wood that make it harder?
I wonder if these can be from antlers or something along those lines…
More stuff to look at.
