These blue-green melon style beads come from an African trader who is sometimes "mistaken" about the origin of his beads. These supposedly a late style Vaseline. Widths range 13.5-17mm, the lobeing is variable, and the holes look like a wound bead. But they seem overall to be too clean and lacking in damage to have been worn in Africa very long. Could they be Indonesian, Chinese? Anyone seen something similar for sale?
