...I believe the seller said it was a Roman agate bead. I wasn't concerned about being taken because if I recall correctly the bead was only 9.99. I know, you're saying that should be my first clue right there. I thought the markings on the bead were quite nice and that you couldn't go wrong for the price regardless of it's age or origins.
