We helped a friend recover his stolen wallet once, minus the cash. We met him at a restaurant and while he was waiting, he went to the men's room and left his wallet in the foyer by accident. Someone grabbed it. We searched all the trash bins outside, in and around the parking lot, and sure enough, found the wallet, minus all his cash. Thieves normally do not want to get caught with any identifying items.

If only you had known it was missing in Tucson - the beads may have been tossed out close by, like in a trash bin at the Grand Luxe.
