African Amber

I recently purchased these two strands in Africa.
The carmel colored strand has 33 beads, with the smallest bead measuring 13.48 mm or 1/2" wide and the largest bead measuring 43.61 mm or 1.75" wide. When rubbed with wool, these beads hold static and will pick up a piece of tissue paper.

The second strand of 31 beads are all uniform shape of 30.62 mm or 1.125" wide. These beads do not hold any static.

Can anyone tell me if they are old amber or simply resin? Any idea of what they might be worth?

I am the new kid on the block here and just starting to enjoy my adventure with beads.
Many thanks for any help or advice.
