Yes indeed, Stefany, I've notice there seem to be far more venetian beads available in Europe than the USA. I've often thought it is because of proximity. Americans must go on a significantly larger travel adventure to reach Italy, land of high-end Venetian beads and necklaces, than do Europeans.

A bead store owner in southern California once told me a woeful tale about trying to establish regular bead buying relations with Venetian bead makers... they only make very large deals, and they don't do business with women. Her husband had to do all the talking, but he had some other career, the bead business was hers.
