I've had this happen a number of times, and yes, twice I right away went out and tried to find a replacement. I love giving beads and jewelry away to those who appreciate them. But there are certain things that I'd rather not live without. Never occurred to me to feel guilty replacing things I've given away. I just feel incredibly fortunate to have found a replacement.
