Judy, that's great! I was just searching for examples. The original beads are definitely within the realm of possibility for being of venetian origin. I've been searching for examples of the component parts of the canes. Your yellow breciated center star is the last component. I could not find an example in the Sick collection cards.

The translucent aqua 7 petal cane is very familiar. It is usually seen with a white center. I did find one example with a yellow center. I was searching for a breciated star center like the ones shown by Judy, so thank you.

The large, long 'torpedo' shape was made in many different colors. Many examples were covered with slices from the same cane, like your beads. The shape and size is entirely consistent.

I have seen examples that were hastily constructed with overlapped slices, squished slices, and not fully fire polished.... so crudeness does not exclude them from being Venetian, it is known with these.

I hope the original poster returns to read these opinions. Thanks Stefany!
