Not a Venetian bead expert, and also a bit difficult to tell from the slightly out of focus picture, but......I do not see any reason why this would not be Venetian. I have not seen this pattern and shape come out of China yet.

Could you show the entire necklace? If this is an original necklace, that might really help with the identification.
